To have the biggest impact on children and young people’s mental health, it’s vital that the diverse experiences and voices of parents and carers from across the country are included in research.

You may want to include parents and carers as participants in your research project, as expert voices through Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement activities (PPIE), or as research project co-applicants.

The aim of the network is not just to link up parents and carers with researchers, but to support researchers to include parents and carers in the most meaningful, safe, and accessible way possible.

You may already have plans to involve parents and carers in your research project. Or you might want some guidance on where to start or how to do it better. Either way, we would love to hear from you!

Please note, the network is for advertising opportunities for parents and carers to get involved in, rather than a way to advertise to their children and young people.
